Gender Ninja

The more people want to confine us to a tick box of F/M then the more we want to revolt against the gender norms. Why can't there be as many options for gender as there are for racial ethnicity. Because you know there are a lot of gender identities, male, female, FTM, MTF, trans, etc. Even other would be an option that people would tick. The more I see female boxes, the more I have the urge to tick male. In the end I don't tick anything and the survey, or whatever I'm trying to create, will yell at me that I need to list a gender. Who says I need to list a gender? Who says my gender is even listed? Who says I need to tick either male or female when quite frankly I don't feel I fit into either role, although I more associate with being a male. Who created this rule? And why haven't they changed it?

I hang out on gendfork a lot (I suggest you check it out Genderfork's site ) But best was running across this one quote, "What are you talking about? I’m not trans. I’m just a gender ninja." In comments, other things suggested were gender pirates, gender ninja pirate, and gender rogue. And I feel like this can best describe people. No matter how late you see this, feel free to comment. Haha. This rant is over.
